Valerie Beckwith, L.Ac. has been practicing and studying Oriental Medicine for over five years. She received three years of full time training at South Baylo University, where she established a strong foundation of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She gained extensive clinical experience while training at SBU Clinic where she excelled at treating a variety of internal medicine patients with acupuncture and herbs. After passing the California State Acupuncture board exam, Valerie furthered her studies at Zhejiang Chinese Medical University in Hangzhou, China, where she apprenticed under Dr. Ninghan Feng, an acclaimed acupuncture master. Valerie had much success treating stroke and paralysis patients at Hangzhou Railroad Hospital's in-patient facility. Zhejiang Chinese Medical University awarded her with a certificate of advanced studies. Currently practicing in San Diego, CA, Valerie is a licensed acupuncturist, and an active member of the American Association of Oriental Medicine.
